Serving Itasca County

It is the mission of United Way of 1000 Lakes
“To improve lives by mobilizing the caring
power of our communities in the Itasca area.”

To that end, United Way of 1000 Lakes has completed a comprehensive NEEDS ASSESSMENT (view pdf) of health and human service needs in Itasca County titled "What Matters". Five organizations partnered with United Way to determine questions, areas of concern, methodology of data gathering, and format.

To learn about United Way on a national level, visit www.liveunited.org. To find out about other United Ways in Minnesota go to www.unitedwaytwincities.org.
