Board Member Spotlight: Marsha Green

Marsha came to the Grand Rapids area with her husband in 2001 from Duluth. They currently live in Cohasset where they enjoy fishing, enjoying many outdoor activities, and spending time with their son.

Marsha’s passions include teamwork, leadership, and bringing quality, safety, and value to rural healthcare.  Those passions led her to a career in the medical field which began at the College of St. Scholastica, where she received a bachelor’s degree in nursing. From there, her career has led her to serve in roles in multiple medical facilities around Minnesota, including the Neuro Trauma ICU at St. Mary’s Medical Center; the Neurology Department for the Duluth Clinic; the ER, Cardiac Rehab and Respiratory Care at Grand Itasca; and Essentia Health – Deer River. In 2014, Marsha was promoted to the Chief Operating Officer/Administrator at Essentia, where she currently serves.
